This project involved a full bathroom refurbishment, installation of a new Howdens kitchen, and redecoration of the property at Bishops Wharf House, transforming the existing space with new plumbing, electrical upgrades, waterproofing, tiling, and decorative finishes throughout. The works began with a complete strip-out of the old bathroom and kitchen, including the removal of existing tiles, walls, sanitaryware, kitchen units, appliances, and redundant pipework, followed by preparation of the space for the new layout and installations.
The refurbishment included new plumbing and electrical works, construction of new walls and boxing, floor levelling, waterproofing, and installation of large-format wall and floor tiles throughout the bathroom, including a tiled shower tray finish for a modern seamless appearance.
A new Howdens kitchen, including kitchen units, worktops and integrated appliances, was installed in accordance with the customer’s designer’s drawings and specifications. All plumbing, electrical connections and finishing works were completed to ensure a high-quality installation and seamless integration with the overall design.
Final works included installation of the new sanitaryware, shower enclosure, lighting, extractor fan, mirror, and all finishing details, followed by full painting and decorating works. Additional decoration was also carried out across the property, including preparation and painting of ceilings, walls, woodwork, and doors to achieve a clean and refreshed finish throughout the home.
Budget: £20,000 (excluding the supply of the new Howdens kitchen, worktops, integrated appliances and all sanitaryware selected by the client)
